MISSIONS STUFF: We will be partnering with Engage Africa, an established ministry in Rustenburg. We will be assisting in updates and outreach for their new and existing church sites, carrying out a VBS experience, doing outreach in Freedom Park (a squatter camp and high AIDS population), hosting sports camps for kids in different areas, and of course creating relationships with many, many people! (Something to keep in mind is that we will be ready to serve the needs present at the time of arrival; this list may, and probably will, be longer!)
FUN STUFF: We will have a day in the market, go on a Game Drive (aka Safari), and take part in some of South Africa’s cultural experiences.
Sunday, September 23rd we will have one (1) service at 10:30 am at Peterson Park Pavilion with a potluck to follow at noon!
There will be no Sunday school or morning cafe. We will be worshipping together in the park and fellowshipping together over lunch!
