(In 2016 we received a $510 check for scrap iron. We saved $4,500 off the original estimate because of the work our own congregation did to dismantle and remove the old boilers.  In 2017 we received a check for $4,717 from Ameren as a rebate for installing a new boiler.  Phase II of the HVAC project was revised downward by $180,000 because our existing pipes were still in good shape and did not have to be replaced, as originally thought.  We will be able to do Phase III of the HVAC in stages as money is available to us, making it unlikely we will have to borrow any money for this entire renovation project.

We currently have pledges amounting to $68,000 toward that $186,463 total.
